Zeolite
In 2016 I was hired by BBDO in NYC as a freelance animator and designer for Exxon Mobil. The goal was to visualize key moments in the creation of various fuel types when the raw petroleum interacts with synthetic zeolite which is the model seen below.
Since the process occurs on a microscopic level I felt it led to a good opportunity to be able to really play with a number of different materials and looks.
Once I found a suitable model online, I utilized Cinema 4d, Octane, and Photoshop to bring it all together.
